The Executive Management Education Programme (eMEP)
It is the first of its kind to be offered in the Asia Pacific region, is designed exclusively for working professionals. As an individual grows in an organisation, each higher step on his career ladder requires him to have qualifications and skills that commensurate to the role he is assigned. The programme attempts to fulfil the demands of the Indian corporates for continued training and development of its executive workforce by offering a wide spectrum of courses encompassing all functional areas of management.
Programme TitleParticipants of the eMEP, on successful completion of the one year long programme, would be awarded the title ‘Post Graduate Certificate in Management’ by IIMK.
Programme Objectives
The programme is designed to impart general management skills to working professionals so as to enhance effectiveness of their decisions. The key objectives of the programme are:
1. To provide formal management education to working executives to prepare them for senior managerial positions in the organisations.
2. To equip the participants with the management concepts, tools and techniques to help take more effective managerial decisions.
3. To build upon participants’ existing knowledge and help develop managerial perspective.
Programme Structure and Curriculum
Spread over a year, it covers 27 courses, structured in two terms. The 14 courses offered in the first term and the rest in second term. They are meant to impart management knowledge and skills to the participants covering the latest concepts and techniques in various functional areas of business and management. Faculty from IIMK and distinguished visiting faculty from reputed academic institutions and industry handle these courses.
