Kozhikode, also known as Calicut, is a city in the southern Indian state of Kerala. It is the third largest city in Kerala and the headquarters of Kozhikode district. Kozhikode was once the capital of an independent kingdom, and later of the erstwhile Malabar District.

IMK possesses one of the largest and biggest libraries amongst all IIMs. IIMK library is a fully automated, highly enriched, digital library, which is supplemented and supported with a strong collection of print media. The library offers free access to a large number of industry specific databases which ensures that students have all the data required. 

• The library boasts of a rich collection of close to 20,000 books and over 30,000 e-books covering almost all areas of business & management, literature, classics, and Information Technology.
• It offers access to over 3000 e-journals sourced from Elsevier, Kluwer, John Wiley, Taylor & Francis, ACM, IEEE etc.
• World renowned open source digital library software – ‘Greenstone’ has been customized and installed to augment the existing information resources. 
• ‘The Videos Library’ is a unique feature of IIMK library. It has over 226 internationally acclaimed educational videos. These videos are easily searchable and streamed into the desktops of the faculty and students of the Institute.

• The library IT infrastructure also includes a high-end CD Server capable of serving over thousands of DVDs and CDs.
